A Bit About, Taylor.
Here in Eastern Arizona lies a small, quaint town loved for its history and unity.
Founded in 1878 this town of roughly 5,000 people has a rich cowboy heritage starting with it’s founder, Mormon pioneer, James Pearce.
Commerce in Taylor has been steadily growing over the last 10 years including the addition of many chain restaurants and currently under construction, a new Walmart.
Visitors from all over Arizona flock here during patriotic holidays like Pioneer Day and the 4th of July. Numinous events take place at this time including rodeos, craft shows and the all time favorite “Firing of the Anvil”.
Nestled right up against Taylor’s northern boundary is another small town, Snowflake. Together these two towns support a modest economy and work closely together as a tight knit community.
In addition to its neighbor Snowflake you can go about 20 minutes South and arrive in Show Low and Pinetop–Lakeside. Here you’ll find fine dining, movies theaters, grocery chains, mom and pop shops of all shapes and sizes, plus, lots of fun things to do.
